Chrysler Celebrates Rebirth

Chrysler is celebrating the launch of added shifts, an $850 Million dollar revamping of a plant, and the launch of their 200 sedan this week.

Dodge CEO - Viper Will Return

Dodge is bringing Viper back to its lineup in the summer of 2012! The all-new Viper will be introduced as a 2013 model, after the company ceased production after 18 years. Ralph Gilles, head of the Dodge brand, confirmed the Chrysler board has given the Viper a go. The new Viper "is not based on anything else," he stated, countering speculation that it will share design with Ferrari or Alfa Romeo's 8C Competizione, given the new partnership of Chrysler and Fiat.

Chrysler Hires 1000 Engineers

Chrysler LLC has announced that it is hiring 1000 engineers, along with other high-tech employees, over the next four months. They are hoping to expand their small and mid-size vehicle segment. Now seems to be a great time to work for Chrysler.

The American automaker, which is now 20% owned by Fiat SpA, plans to hire the engineers, "including electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers, through the first quarter of 2011" as stated by Reuters.
