Dodge Caravan Cuts Prices, Rises To Top

The 2011 Dodge Caravan comes with a new drivetrain, suspension and updated interior.

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 283 horsepower at 6,400 rpm, 260 pounds-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm - that's with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine keeps the revving up slightly high, but that's normal. Chrysler senior manager Ben Winter says that is on purpose. The sustained high revving helps smooth the transmission's next shift.
